A bit of an uptick on the 12z ensembles, esp. the Euro EPS. The Euro EPS has long been one of the better pre-genesis tools, but the Euro AI ensemble did really well last season.

I dont think so. If this thing stays south and continues west, rivers/creeks wont swell. All winds will be out of a north/northeast/northwest direction depending on its location at any given time along the coast

It is going to be running at an acute angle to the coastline. It all depends how close to the coast the center tracks.
The current GFS global model takes a weak low into FL panhandle near Destin.

Models are split, but NHC is currently going with movement inland into FL panhandle.
