Either Duke, Slack, or RDS posted a dang RI probability not a day ago and it showed roughly 50% chance of RI...

Except the guy on the weather channel just said there is no reason to think that with current developments and conditions there is no reason to think Nate won't continue to intensify as it moves across the gulf.

Also said that predictions of 85 and storm surge predictions can be thrown out the window as they stand now if that happens

Pretty sure he knows what he is talking about more than you

Except extensively talked about as a real possibility by the National Hurricane Center for three days now.

3 days? Really? Just when did this thing even start, let alone they have been talking about it being a strong hurricane?

A good way to get fired from the Weather Channel is to suggest a storm may not be quite as intense as originally thought.

Semi-related, as this could be amplified in the coming days.

Who said this was going to be a Major Hurricane?

I as well as a few others said if this storm was moving slow, it WOULD be a M. Hurricane.

See my edit. He said that could absolutely change because he sees no reason why it won't continue to intensify. The conditions it's in now continue across the gulf where it will have 24 hours worth of it

Hardly

No prediction has ever given a "real possibility" of cat 2 winds. Zero

It's a lie to suggest as much

Define "real possibility"

30 hours ago the HWRF, a hurricane intensity forecast, suggested borderline Cat 3 winds.

****This is an old forecast****
