can any professionals or folks who think they might be weigh in on what we are seeing? Looks like pressure is continuing to drop and radar might be showing eye formation? Thanks!

Its on a slow strengthen today, this is expected.

The NHC appears to have the measure of this system. Weakens on approach due to shear, goes in somewhere near the Florabama, produces a tornado outbreak to the east.

it is weird to look at this thread, and see where the storm is headed, and no be impacted by it. having moved to the Hill Country of Texas, it is so odd to not be worried about the weather like i was in Alabama.

everyone that is gonna get hit be safe.

Any news on the actual storm that will affect property and lives?
Since OPB is not going to pay up to all you "nongay" gents who still want some fellatio, can we get back to the dick that is getting ready to go up the panhandle's arse please?

Nope. None at all.
Read the thread fool. Even just starting two pages back you will find all the information you need for updates.
Also the map in the OP is up to date.

Remember when this storm would not make it past Tropical Storm status? Now we are looking at Cat 3 for Al/abama/Florida coast line.

Next primary update from NHC is in 2 hours at 10 am central.

Hurricane hunters are on recon inside the storm now. About to make a pass from NE to SW. Notable findings from first pass was a new minimum pressure finding of 978mb on dropsonde. Strongest 10s flight level winds were clocked at 78kt in SE eyewall. Should be interesting to see what they find in NE eyewall and dropsonde in eye here in about 30-40 min.

We found someone that still worships at the altar of climate change.

Smarten up:

Climate change is one of the main factors responsible for the unusually warm waters in the Gulf of MEXICO contributing to the recent trend of rapid intensification, but go on pretending it doesn't exist.

Exactly how much more "unusually warm" is the gulf right now ?

Care to quantify that ?
