We've been fortunate that there's been no real threats since we've owned it so this one I'm watching close and hoping the worst of it misses our area. You got any structures to worry about at your place or just some land?

But how long do you think power will be out?

Rds / Slack / Duke ... I am definitely seeing dry air get into her northern side. Is this nothing to deem worth being happy about?

any dry air is better than not interacting with it at all. whether or not it results in any weakening or how much will remain to be seen.

There's a pump house and an old trailer with an added on big living room and back porch and a dock on the little lake. We inherited from my great grandparents when they died close to 20 years ago. Like you said, it isn't much, but it's super quiet and the fishing is great. We have insurance and if it gets destroyed, c'est la vie. It's lasted the better part of 50 years and nothing has gotten it yet. Here's hoping. At least I have a reason to go check on it now.

Yeah way more central Florida people here than I thought. But we're the ones with a decision to make. Miami peeps are already out. Tampa likely are staying put.
Now I'm wondering what the hell to do. I really hope the projections just go off shore again.
