Was that when we had a running back as our QB?

Sum up ESPN in one sentence

Stephen A screaming at me about basketball.
LSU still hasn't won a game against Alabama since Chicken made this thread.
Dang, I live in Orlando and listen to him every day after work, I never thought someone would bring him up on the SECrant. I love their show though, they're actually pretty good.
Honest insight Bama fan here with some honest answers:

Go tuck yourself
Only one of the players is of consequence, and OU's defense is so terrible that the downgrade on OL won't be noticeable.
I didn’t notice apparently the other threads but I thought this thread was interesting. I wouldn’t fault you for starting it, but I’m also in medicine.

Your dynasty consists of getting beat down by Alabama twice, once to Jake Coker, and winning one championship on a last second illegal play with the greatest QB your school has ever had.
It's hilarious that our only 3 star is Commander Will Reichard the kicker.

A gentle reminder that Peej is currently 5-0 in pickem. Peej.

Prediction for the next 10 years in CFB

Posted by Kcoyote on 12/13/18 at 11:07 pm
A perfect storm of factors will contribute to a massive decrease in college football popularity over the next 10 years.

1. Saban will retire. Now most see this as a resurgence, but it's quite the opposite. Saban and Alabama are so dynastic that casual fandom in CFB will decrease pretty heavily when the ride is over.

2. Players sitting out bowl games to preserve their NFL futures. Over time the idea of playing in college as a gateway to the NFL will start to die. McKenzie Milton almost lost a leg the other week. Players notice this. Especially when...

3. The rise of the minor leagues like the AAF. Soon they will start poaching college kids who want to actually make money while risking their futures instead of being left out to dry if they get injured in college.
Stephen A is the same dude who thinks there are still ties in the NHL and that you can try a fourth down play after attempting a field goal on third down, and wonders why more teams don't do that.

Those are actual opinions of his by the way.
What other receiver had 100 yards besides Coop and Julio?
All I know is, they have 2 top 10 finishes in the last 7 years, 3 if they win this next game, and LSU has none over that span.
2.6 YPC is an improvement for Fournette

To reiterate some UGA misery

2012 SEC Championship: 1st and goal at the 8, down by 4 points. Instead of spiking the ball and clocking it with 15 seconds, Georgia decides to run a hurry up play which is tipped, caught by a UGA receiver who falls to the ground. In bounds. Game over. Alabama cakewalks Notre Dame 4 weeks later for a championship.

2017 National Championship: Georgia is up double digits at the half and lead the entire game. They get the benefit of a missed field goal to let the game into overtime. Their kicker is one of the surest from medium range. They make their first kick in overtime. They get a sack on Alabama's possession. Their kicker can't make this kick. The game is almost over. Then Tua and 26 happens. The game is over in an instant.

2018 SEC Championship: Georgia is really going to win this one. They're up double digits in the second half. They've just knocked out Bama's Heisman hopeful. All they got to do is control the clock and pin Bama deep.

They run a fake RUNNING punt on 4th and 11. Hurts completes the miraculous comeback. Georgia loses another.

The misery here is poetic.
