Charlie opened my eyes in 2004. Went through fast and angry. If this thing comes close to you fill your bathtubs along with any other hurricane preps. It gives you water to flush the toilet.

Where are you close to?

Wife is friends of a friend that took it or was on Facebook or some shite, I was listening. So I don't know if this is actually Barbados. But, if it is, dear Lord please turn north and out to sea. That will destroy everything.

Damn, imagine the bind you will be in if their homes are leveled and they have to stay with you for an extended time. So terrible for you.

The 18z GFS appears to be a big outlier. Not supported by 18z GEFS

We're in Baton Rouge and the gf is all worried about this thing, and she's convinced that it's gonna hit Louisiana. All she sees is the big cone on the weather channel, which is only good for a few days, and to her it looks like it's coming here.

I've been trying to calm her down by showing her the models how they predict that it will take a sharp turn north, but she gets really freaked out by weather.

This is exhausting.

supernovasky:

Wow. Recon found 226 mph winds flight level.
Even with 10% reduction, that is 200-205 mph on the ground.
