re: How to shut up barking dog next door

Its probably been mentioned already, but I bought a handheld electronic dog whistle off Amazaon.

The things works great. Every time my neighbors dog barks I hit the button and dog whistle their arse from across the fence. After a couple barks the dogs don't like the noise they hear and retreat.

Best thing is it doesn't make any noise we can hear. My neighbor has no idea why her dogs keep retreating from the fence, but its the e dog whistle. It also seems to work on the bigger dog on the other side.

Everyone needs to chill, even the dogs.
Slide the dog a bowl of cheap red wine and couple of edibles. He will mellow.

HOAs exist to barter corrupt indulgences for their buddies while holding everyone else to rigid adherence to BS rules.
These are just a joke.

50mg Benadryl placed inside of a ball of ground meat. Toss over fence. Dog will be sleeping in 30 minutes.

We were wondering where you had gone.

Many years ago in a different house we bought a Barker Breaker. It is not a silent bark box. It wailed like a banshee for everyone to hear. The dogs hated it and ran away whimpering. Then the neighbor, who had been a huge bitch when we tried to talk reasonably about the incessant barking, ironically started complaining about the noise. Called my husband at his office to complain, which was a mistake because he is mean at work. He told her to get fricking used to hearing it until she controlled her dogs. So essentially we trained HER.

In this house the dog next door was not out much but barked when he was. Husband would walk to the metal fence post closest to the dogs head and whack it (the post not the dog’s head) with an aluminum baseball bat. Dog got to where he hushed when he heard husband’s voice. Dog is dead now and the new one is silent.

So a couple of options that worked for us.

You have to make the owners get tired of the barking so they will get rid of the dog. Friend of mine’s neighbor had several dogs they would keep in the house at night but during the day they would let them go outside and be couldn’t enjoy his property due to the excessive barking. Well he decided to buy a dog whistle and set his alarm for about 2 am. He would wake up, blow the dog whistle, listen to the neighbor’s house erupt with the dogs barking followed closely by the neighbor hollering at the dogs for barking at nothing. It took him about a month of doing this but his neighbor got rid of the dogs. Lol.
