Spray it with the hose pipe. It won't hurt it and works.

Timic

Edit: sorry, lake2280 beat me to it. Lol

Seriously though, it’s a joke. Don’t use timic on that poor animal. Must be a horrible way to die. A spray of water from a hose is a much better option. Do it every time he starts barking at you and eventually he’ll learn. Or… he’s just a mutt that’s too stupid to learn… then use timic (kidding again).

Have you tried talking to your neighbor? Is the neighbor even aware? That seems like the best place to start. Had the same issue, went over and knocked on the door, and the neighbor was apologetic. He managed the situation with his dog and all was good. Don't poison the FFS.

I've talked to her in the past about issues and while she was apologetic, it also didn't solve much. She seems a but......slow. I came to her cause her smaller dog was getting out of her yard and shitting/passing and running all over mine. I could tell she felt bad, but it took forever to actually solve it. She knows I'm annoyed by this as one time the growling/barking was sudden and started me to where I yelled SHUT UP.... she was in the yard and called it over and shush it for 2 mins....then it was bsck to doing the same shite and she didn't seem to mind

I completely empathize. I had a neighbor with a dog that we couldn't even go in our backyard for coffee. It was ridiculous. SPCA finally came and got them because they were left outside 24/7 whether it was 25º or 110º. I don't understand people that can do that to dogs much less have disregard from their neighbors.

Had a similar problem at my last house. You just gotta bark louder and deeper than the dogs and establish dominance.

Just recently dealt with this in the most 2021 PC way possible. I spent $150 total and it was completely worth every penny. I bought a Bark Box and a super soaker type water gun and filled the water gun with Listerine mouth wash. The bark box worked really well for barking but I also would spray the dogs mouth with listerine every time he ran up and down the fence. Over the coarse of three weeks the barking ended and fence running stopped. I now turn the bark box off but every now and then I have to remind him by turning it back on... I also spray a little listerine on my fence every now and then to remind him not to run that fence. Overall all best $150 spent....20 years ago I would have handled with a bb gun. So I guess I'm now woke.
