I have been to Veterans stadium...it was pretty rough 20 years ago and I doubt it's gotten any better.

It ain't there anymore lol.
I had a hot streak between 2010 and 2016.

Between fall 2010 and spring 2014 I lived in a 2BR and then a 4BR at University Heights/Tiger Lodge in Auburn. This was the place where football players were murdered on two different occasions. It wasn't so bad when me and my buddies first moved in but all the nice people left after the first year or two and all the hoodlums moved in. We couldn't get a pizza delivered there after a while which was a big red flag in hindsight. There was plenty of goofy stuff that happened there though. We had a guy with a super loud bass who would drive his arse through the complex at ungodly hours a few nights every week. We called him Mr Awesome. The nets at the basketball court disappeared after the final four every year. A week before my lease was up we nearly had a gang fight in my building. Cops came for that one. Checked the place out again last summer and it's chinatown now. I guess they stopped renting to section 8. Rent was $400/month.

After that I lived in a 1BR for six months, was only like 480 square feet, everything was paper thin, the internet never worked, and we all shared the same ducts and AC. Girl living on one side had to be Indian because everything smelled like curry three nights a week. Guy on the other side loved hot dogs and pumping iron. Girl under me had an incredible sex drive and she was easily 9/10. Too bad I was already dating my wife. Rent was like $370/month.

Then I graduated and moved to Atlanta for work. Found a gated complex literally across the street from the office. Apartment was nice, management was a bunch of crooks. Tires got stolen off my car in the first three months. To this day I am 100% sure the "security" was in on it. Should have retained a lawyer and seen what he could turn up but I was young and trying to save as much money as I could. Plus I hated the job and had little time or energy for anything else. Had to gut it out for another ten months but at least I knew I didn't want to live in Atlanta after that.
There's never a good time to have a middle seat in coach unless you're the only one on your row.
I have a few unpaid parking tickets in my town. There's three or four garages where I can't take my car.
I'm having lithotripsy for a 12mm kidney stone I just found out I had. So either when I'm passing the fragments the old fashioned way or when they have to go up and retrieve it.
I have not quiet quit my job, not even close, but I understand why it's happening. It has a lot to do with lack of wage growth and lack of advancement in their careers. My wife is in this situation, she's been at her job for seven years and is by far the most competent person in her office. Managers from other markets call her to get her expertise on several issues but she can't get into a management role because of reluctance by the bean counters to create a position for her or promote/reassign current managers. If you're in your 30s and you have nothing to show for years of busting your arse then what's the point of continuing like that? The company needs to value their employees too. These workers need to be identified and encouraged to move up to bigger and better roles and not languish in career purgatory.

DeSantis is not some rich elite. He is self made and more of a blue collar guy. If he was opposition, he wouldn't be so far ahead of them. RD plays offense and they have to play defense against him. You're falling for some bullshite

Thank you. His background is unquestionably working class, his mom was a nurse and his dad was a cable guy. Ron, as a non-legacy, was able to get into Yale and then go to Harvard law after that. He also competed in the Little League World Series as a kid, joined the Navy after law school, and was a JAG. These are all things that should be celebrated. When Ron declares that he's running for president (he has 120 million+ cash on hand and he's only going to need a fraction of that to beat Crist, he's running for president) he will highlight these things to endear him to voters who don't know him beyond his governorship. He's also done all this by age 43, it's not like he's a fossil like everyone else that wants the presidency.

If Trump weren't in the picture it would be understood by all that the nomination was his if he wanted to run. Nobody else currently on the Republican bench is in his galaxy. He is so obviously the best candidate that it makes me certain the GOP will find a way to run Trump again and piss it all away.
The people who dump on DeSantis don't know how wildly successful he's been at advancing the conservative agenda in Florida. I don't know where this "DeSantis is a GOPe plant" idea came from but it's complete nonsense. Other GOP governors are seeking out his leadership and trying to implement his ideas, not the other way around. I say this as someone who's lived his whole life in Florida.
When people put a space between the end of the sentence and the punctuation.

Like this .
If Trump is going to run he has to be 2016 Trump again with a real message for voters. He can't run on rehashing 2020 over again. There's too many problems in America right now even though we all know there was funny business going on in places like PA and WI and beyond. Personally I want DeSantis to run because he has no fear of anyone and the team that surrounds him is incredible. He also doesn't get distracted by nonsense like Trump tends to do.
This is like when they used to dig up the bones of the dead and put them on trial.
One of my first jobs was doing paperwork at a doctor's office in the not so great part of town. We had some doozys come in but the worst was "Illkillya." She (yup it was a girl) was eventually taken away by the state because the mom was a hopeless druggie and there was no dad. The family that adopted her legally changed her name to a normal name.
This happened to my wife a few years ago except it was one cat and she was doing errands around town. She was about their size and we had to bottle feed her for a while. She's still distrustful of others but loves the two of us and our son who was born after we rescued her. Sleeps in our bed every night like a guard dog. Best cat I've ever had.
Not like Disney prices haven't been going through the roof anyway. There's way too many people at the parks these days. Let em raise the prices and crowd out some of the riff raff.
Honestly I feel really bad for the guy. Seeing some of the testimony at the trial... he looks like he needs a couple normal people to hang out with.
DeSantis getting his map passed and folding district 5 in its current form is a big W. What a joke that district is. I live in the district 2 part of Tallahassee and less than a mile from my house is where district 5 starts. One side of a two lane road in a residential area is in district 2 and the other side of the road is in district 5 with people as far away as Jacksonville. We're all the same constituency and we should be in the same district like the new map has.
Drinker is one of the best channels out there right now. Him and Nick Rekeita are mega based and Melonie is too.
Lunacy. If they take the L here they can pin it on "Trump's judge" and energize their base at least a little bit. If they somehow get it reinstated you're going to see even more backlash during air travel and more anger directed at Dems this fall.
At least some of the softball players are cute.
