Tell her the second she puts up something that says Live Laugh Love you’re filing for divorce.

Guess I’m lucky that I’ve had a smoking hot wife for 20 years...you know so I don’t turn gay and all.

don’t mind telling my wife something looks like shite. Sometimes you just gotta be an a-hole. Get it out in the air, argue about it, compromise, and move on.

I’ll let a lot of things pass, like the millions of pillows that are completely useless but sometimes you just have to tell it’s stupid.

Since she’s a George Straight fan, tell her If I Know Me her arse will be living in Texas soon. She’ll understand the references.

My longtime bachelor living room was decorated with q vintage Ali/Spinx promotional poster, a poster of 22 Things To Do In New Orleans Before You Die, and a picture of me drunk as shite holding some sort of Russian rocket launcher at an open air bazaar in Kazakhstan. Tasteful and understated, that's me.

I take shite out of the yard, off the beaches, off the railroad tracks...and just put them on the shelves without doing anything to them. I’ve prepared a few things by putting legs on it or grinding it to sit flat, but mostly I just bring it in the house. My wife’s thrown a few things out, but mainly because it’s rusty and just sheds metal every time she moves it.

She’ll say WTF is that, and what are you doing with it...it a decayed cross tie and I’m mounting a bracket on it to hang on the wall. I can feel a disapproving look, but I don’t glance up to verify

You're a very unique fellow on here most times, but these are some good words to go by. She'll love it or hate it and she'll adjust things accordingly in time. It's a balance. Whether you do it verbally or just by action....as long as you both get say in it, it doesn't matter. You have to give each other room to maybe go a little too far with something and you have to allow the other to reciprocate some action or response to it.
My wife likes some things that I think are just awful that I will allow, but when it gets too far, I let her know. She does the same for me.

My wife loves having decorations (not just pictures) all over the walls and on all of our tables and shite... I like a more minimalist look and feel like our house is cluttered even when it's just been cleaned because of how my wife decorates..

My compromise is that my office is my own space and she gets the rest of the house. I spend most of my days in my office anyway since I work from home. The only downside is the office gets cluttered with overflow from birthday presents and holiday shite. And there's a guest bed that will eventually go away at my behest.

Can you get to Amarillo by morning?

Seriously...find one or two things out of 10 and say.."nope...do something different..." Leave everything else alone. Its still your home and you got to maintain some respect but...also you don't really care about 80/90% of the stuff..so don't squabble over it

So she's doing all the decorating herself and it doesn't effect you in any way other than looking at it?

Yeah bitch about something else.

My wife has me build all that shite for her and I still don't bitch.
