It is still kind of weird, creepy and extremely lazy on the parents that do it.

Is it weird and lazy to bathe more than one kid together? Let’s say 2 or 3 kids under 5-6?

There is a big difference between taking a bath vs a shower and also if you have sons or daughters.

Ahh, so you don’t have kids but you are here to give advice

Every kid in the history of the world has showered/bathed with their parents at some point

Showered with my son a few times when he was 2-3 to save time. After that, he showers by himself while me or my wife sit on the toilet and play with our phone (just sitting, not shitting). Wash his hair and face, then give him the washcloth and let him clean the rest himself.

Never showered with my daughter, although my wife has(daughter is only 2).

2-3 for my son. Hell we have a pool if it was a promised swim day and it rained we would swim in the pool. I’d make sure he bathed but I’d sit in the tub with a swimsuit on.

I’m sorry but if you find taking a quick shower with your young child who can’t do it by themselves creepy then i think you are slightly a pedo. that thought shouldn’t even enter your mind.

Also if your taking a bath and not showering after then your disgusting. This ain’t the freaking 1800s.

You talking to me? Or just replied off of my post?

I thought I did the opposite of thinking it creepy.

Never showered with my son when he was holding age. Stupid but was always scared to drop him. Soap and wet baby etc.

Father of three grown children.

Not a single time did they bathe with their parents.

I don’t remember if i did or not, but i would say up until around kindergarten is socially acceptable. Beyond that there’s an ick factor. I mean, by that time shouldn’t they be able to bathe themselves?

Unsure what is weirder, bathing with your kids or starting a thread needing to ask the appropriate age to stop doing it.

Bathe WITH them? Never.

Draw bath water. Supply with rubber duckies, mermaids and bathtub fingerpaints. After a while of play, direct them to wash up. Wash, condition and blow dry hair.

Left on her own, my ADHD step-daughter would wander through the house dripping wet searching for a towel, doing gymnastics and headstands. She needed structure and direction until she was ten. Her sister was capable but asked for her shampoo and conditioner until she was 12 for fear of getting it in her eyes.

Well, well, well. Everyone on here thinks I’m you. No way with this absurd comment.
