29, would have a hard time dating anyone under 22. Too much of a generational and cultural gap between a 2000s kid and a 2010s kid.

First you have to find the 22Y/o that would date you...

I’m 30. If I was single, youngest I would go for is probably 26 or 27. I don’t have the energy to deal with a girl still in college.

Youngest you go is 1/2 your age + 7. That's the golden rule.

Anything else and you're just a toolbag being used for your money or God knows what else.

You're also likely being clowned mercilessly behind your back by the friends/associates of your partner. That might not bother you but it would probably bother me.

I'm 45 and there's no way I could date a 29 year old. I mean casual sex is one thing but that's a pretty big generational gap in my opinion to actually date. To each their own I guess.

34 and youngest I could conceivably date right now is 25.

My current gf of multiple years is 28.

I know dating a woman who still financially supports kids means I’m going to end up financially supporting someone else’s kids and that is not for me.

It’s not even the financial part that’s the problem for me. The time demands single moms have make dating difficult. It’s easier if their kids are high school aged or older, or they have a solid ex-husband that is involved with the kids.

Exactly the ratio I followed. At 35 married a woman who had recently turned 26. We started dating when I was 33 and she was 24. It's worked out well so far, except that she can't understand why I complain about aches and pains. When she hits the age when those started for me, she always seems to get it.

Not going to lie, at first the age difference was kind of a concern; but she's mentally mature, much more so than me.

Married and not interested, but if I was somehow forced I don’t think I could go below 35.
