0.

I was 6 when my step dad and I were driving through Reno? I gave him a roll of nickels to gamble at a gas station. He came out, I asked him where all my winnings were, he said he lost everything. Lesson learned.

I don't get gambling culture for normies. During the last Liverpool match I think I counted four different gambling outfits being advertised in the same match. Guys checking their phones to find out if Buffalo beat ND State by a field goal, etc. I'm sure it gives you an excuse to be interested, but I'm already interested in watching teams I give less than two shits about, because football or soccer is better than not football or soccer.

I bet regularly on games that are on TB that I'm watching or if there's a gameday party.

Just like golf, bowling or a strip club. It's a fun little hobby if you don't get nuts and do it in moderation.

The casinos don't stay in business from people winning money.

We probably go every 3 months, it's a little over an hour drive. Try not going to the Indian casinos, as they charge you for drinks. We take a little SS money, it's entertainment for us. Can't always come home with more than you take, but that 1 time you do you never forget. Wife hit this jackpot with only a 50 cent bet.

Never.

I don't have money for that or interest in college & pro sports. I have to focus completely on high school sports.

ETA I will keep up with Jack Bech. Check my profile.

I give myself $20 a week to sports bet with.

Sometimes I use it, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I win and roll it over until I get up to a few hundred bucks and cash out and repeat.

Bottom line, if I'm sitting at home watching North Carolina play Virginia in an afternoon basketball game on a Saturday, I want to have a rooting interest.

Throwing $20 on a game or parlay gives me a rooting interest

Never did either. I see all those huge buildings and monuments they build in Vegas it is pretty clear they will win and you will lose.

But nobody ever considers every stadium (SoFi, Acrisure, BoA, MetLife, Caesars, Empower, Everbank, Huntington Bank, Lincoln Financial, M&T, Paycor, State Farm, US Bank) named after a financial institution is doing the same thing?

I’d put a little money on a game if it were legal in Texas.

I’ve never been in a casino and never have plans to. If the odds or not in my favor or not even 50/50, then why just give them money? No thanks. You can look at their regular clientele and see a product of bad decision making. Something I don’t have a desire to be a part of.

Zero in over thirty years, any method.

It doesn’t wind my watch.

Only go to casinos for events unrelated to gambling.

Nothing online. Investing in equities are my gambling.

I do this as well except I do $10/week.

I like throwing out total goals on EPL and now that it's golf season hitting up some Matchup parlays.

Like you, if I get up a bit ill transfer out and put the earnings into a little webull account.

The stock market is way scarier than betting on golf.

I don't need to have money on it to have a rooting interest

1. If LSU is playing, LSU.

2. If a team I hate is playing, root against them.

3. Otherwise, root for the underdog.
