Nothing. Absolutely nothing. If they can't afford it, they don't need to go right now.

If she had the temerity to ask, I'd give her a piece of my mind and she probably wouldn't like me after that.

If you have the money, why not? Whatever you are comfortable with. It’s family.

Me zero.

But if your wife wants to do something special, why not donate the parents $500 for meals and then each kid $250 spending money.

This can help w the extras if they already planned to pay the hard trip cost.

Zero.if I was your niece’s husband I wouldn’t accept the money. I take care of my own wife and kids, no thank you. I understand helping family if there was a major illness or something serious but not a fricking overpriced corporate vacation

The same amount they’d give me… $0, but if you’re well off or a single dude that doesn’t care give them $300 for a dinner on you. If they “need” more than that they shouldn’t be going.

I gave my cousin $300 when her house burnt down but I wouldn’t donate to someone’s vacation.

For clarification, niece has not asked for anything. We have never given them money for anything.

I’ll take the answer from the OT as somewhere between $0 and $250, but closer to zero.

Have them go to 29A instead. It's like 30A but much cheaper.

29A is Lake Charles beach btw

In all seriousness, your wife has a good heart. I'd give them $5K personally. It won't pay for it all, but it'll make a dent.

Haha

I can see where you’re coming from on this on. If you are the rich uncle grinder that normally gives great gifts then throw a couple grand at them.

Middle of the road uncle grinder with car notes and a mortgage then maybe only a few hundred bucks in disney cash (if thats even a thing)

I wouldn’t either but the wife has a want to do something. Sooo… I think giving money to all parties in a manner I said sort of helps all… instead of just backdooring the parents a check

Look at this big donor here. LOL

OP, give what you are comfortable with. There is no right or wrong answer here, so I’m thinking you started this thread just to get the baws fired up.

And they would have to be staying at the high end properties to be doing Disney for $10k
