Late 80's Early 90s

Undergrad average $11,000 tuition per year in 2020 $46,000 oer year

Law School average $22,500 tuition per year in 2020 $61,000

Tuition alone my under grad/grad education would cost $365,000 today. Mine and my wife's together would be over $800,000. It is truly mindboggling.

LSUNO - 1967: $50 a semester. I think it was raised to $60 the next year. I remember reading that it was the lowest in the nation back then.

When I graduated from Tech years ago, I paid about $900 for full time tuition on Barksdale.

Now I’m in grad school and one all online course is 1100.

So who worked at Tulane, mom or dad? That what's awesome about that school, anyone from the president to a maintenance worker's kids can go to school for free..

Do you still have to get accepted though?

I have no idea. Early 00s, TOPS paid tuition and I had other scholarships which covered Fees. Often I would get a check!

fall 1974 at NLU (now UL) for $275, I got tuition, books, parking pass and a burger at A&W across the street. I paid for it with a granny grant.

Like $1300 at LSU in mid 90s. I lived at home a few miles from LSU. I remember bitching about the $70 tech fee we had to pay around 97 to put computer labs in Ceba and Middleton.
Youngons have no concept of getting on the list and waiting at a table for 2 hrs for a computer to be available to do your paper or computer science homework.
