How Many of You Have an Attorney on Standby?

You hear about someone threatening to contact “their attorney”, etc, but in reality what percentage of people have an attorney they can just call up for whatever necessitates it? 1% or less?

Not on standby but it's good to be familiar with some attorneys in case you need one.

I have two.

One for land and inheritance questions.

One for everything else.

The second one I try to golf with once a month and we text a few times a week. I pay what I want. And I don't think I've ever shorted him.

The first is business only, but we have an understanding and only deal in cash.

I have a friend that is an attorney. Not on any official retainer but I would call him if I never an attorney.

I have a tax lawyer on retainer...he can probably help me out if I get in criminal trouble...hope I don’t need to find out.
