re: Any navy seals here? - GAFF
I don't know any SEALs but from what I've read/heard it's all about mindset. Andy Frisella had a SEAL on his podcast once and talked a little about BUD/S. The one part that always sticks out to me is when he said their task one day was to just run on the beach. No time limit, didn't know for how lon...

re: What’s your passive income play? - GAFF
I'm always skeptical of anyone who starts talking about quitting their job or "taking a step back" in order to have more time to generate passive income
No, I’m trying to get passive income so I can take a step back or switch careers. Without that established income I can’t leave....
I'll take "Famous last words" for $1,000
By can’t lose I mean can’t lose my initial profit from premium. Sure I might get hit by a rising/declining stock but if the sole point is the covered call for income I should be good. ...

re: What’s your passive income play? - GAFF
Anyone here do covered calls for income? I just got started in options and admittedly don’t know all the ins and outs but I wrote 6 covered calls for March 19 exp for around ~$1000 total. Nothing breath taking but still a nice profit. Strike was above my average and I don’t hold long in this account...

What’s your passive income play? - GAFF
Been looking more and more into the passive income game. Would eventually like to take a different role in my company or switch careers all together to be at home more. Considering some passive income to help alleviate the would be salary loss. With so many options out there just wondering what actu...

re: AT - Small Cap Discussion Thread ( NEW. ) - GAFF
I wrote this in the ZOM thread but it had bearing here as well. I know many bought ZOM and TSNP because AT recommended them and it took off and FOMO kicked in. BUT if you bought and you truly trust AT knows what he's talking about (hasn't been wrong yet) then you shouldn't sell. Take profits sure...

re: Making Out A Will and Questions Regarding Daughter - GAFF
I’ll definitely be getting a lawyer. I was asking more about ideas of how to set it up. One person said 25% at 25, 25% at 30 and 50% at 35. That’s a good idea. I’d like to do something like that but not the same ages. What about a monthly stipend to the family for the child’s raising? What about we...

Making Out A Will and Questions Regarding Daughter - GAFF
What are some things to consider when making out a will when a child is involved? Daughter is one. Wife and I have about 500k each in insurance. If something were to happen to both of us what are some good considerations for our child and our will? Never really dealt with anything like this. ...

How To Research Stocks - GAFF
Interested in what you look for when researching a stock. How you differentiate between pertinent information and how you ultimately decide what’s a buyer and what isn’t. I’ve seen many company’s that I think should go off based on some new product or news (looking at you AUPH) that either stagnates...
