I suppose you've never heard of the word.. Golfing.

I realize it is a gentleman's game, not available for someone of your means, but surely you must have encountered the word in a magazine in your pain clinic's office?

If a present participle exists, then the word itself can be used as a verb.

If you can go golfing, you can golf with someone.

You hear about someone threatening to contact “their attorney”, etc, but in reality what percentage of people have an attorney they can just call up for whatever necessitates it? 1% or less?

Depends, are you an attorney?

I have a few people I can call if I am in need of a lawyer ASAP. They are not technically my lawyer, its people who I know, who are lawyers.. who would be there if I needed them.

If you're married to one, then you got one on retainer all the time.

I think so. I should have gone to English class more often but instead I was out soccering.

Have you heard of:

Walking
Running
Eating
Singing
Dancing
fricking
Sucking
Sleeping
Riding

Or any other multitude of words which have such a verb form?

Your sports examples don't hold water... Seeing as how you can also swim with someone.

Perhaps an example you can understand...

You can swallow, but you don't have to always find yourself swallowing the contents of every scrotum deposited in or around your mouth.

Rando don’t waste your time with him. He’s an angry bitter old man. He’ll argue with you just to argue.

He’s obviously off his meds

I have heard 3 people say this and i asked them each time and they tried to tell me that they have a lawyer they use.

I said, so you pay your attorney a monthly fee to stay on stand by? Because that’s what it takes to “have a lawyer”

They didn’t look like they enjoyed my comment
