Rolling Rock, Blue Moon, Corona, Sam Adams. I don’t really care what other people drink, and anyone who would knock what I drink is probably not someone I’d want to have a beer with anyway.

I drink PBR.
But I switch it up and try new (mostly local) beers just so I know them. I don't drink any microbrews unless they are local, because quite honestly, frick any place that isn't Memphis.

I love craft beer but I’ll also drink a Miller on occasion. As others have said, I’m not a beer snob. The best beer is the one that you like to drink.

It must be a generational thing. I hate craft beers. It’s like drinking bread that tastes like coffee. I’m trashy so I’ll take Miller Lite all day over that tasty stuff. My son the hipster is complete opposite. He’ll drink all that crappy stuff, yet chug Southern Comfort. I drink beer for it’s utility hydration plus a buzz. I’m more into sipping really good whiskey like Old Rip Van Winkle and cheap beer.

When you say “generic beer” I think of the old “National” Grocery Store in Crowley. About 1983. Big yellow can with plain type all lower case “beer” on the can. No label. No slogan. Nothing.
In that case I am not a generic beer drinker. If I am offered a cold Bud Light or Miller Lite I will drink one. Michelob Ultra I will turn down, Thats about it.
