I wear a pair for running, but not a big fan of the look so I don’t wear them out
I prefer Ultraboosts if I’m wearing tennis shoes for style

On clouds are the worst shoes I’ve ever bought. Tore up in less than 2 months and weren’t even comfortable.. they were rigid and stiff.
Dudes just lie trying to justify overpaying for a pair of shitty tennis shoes. Brooks are 10x better.

Not really comparable for most people. Ons look better and are more convenient. I wouldn't run in them, the same as I wouldn't wear Brooks around town most of the time.

Yeah, I think there is a big distinction between comfy chill out shoes and more hardcore runners. It appears that On Cloud has taken over the soccer mom and dad set. The running nerds seem to be into Brooks, Saucony, and Altra. I can't tell with Hoka. They seem to be somewhere in between.

I got a pair as a gift after my brother in law loved his so much he got me some. It was at least a year before I saw a woman wear them, so Im fairly certain your tik tok theory is off (although may be true now).
I'm on my third pair. They really are comfortable and you can slip them right on. The guy who compared to them to crocs may not be far off. And yea, there's a reason I'm on my third pair. They dont last for shite.

It's one of the most common complaints about them if you're a runner. I guess if you don't use them for running maybe it's not an issue. But they are horrible running shoes because they wear down ridiculously fast.
