Probably make a post on here about it. The people that had to move to Texas just to find a job are so bored that they troll a Louisiana message board all day

I just moved into a new house in my little corner of H-town and at least 5 homes on this street are residents from Louisiana. All South LA so Houston can’t be all bad. I don’t really meet anyone from my part of North LA here. They all think the oxygen supply runs out on the other side of Shreveport.

Well, when we bused the lower 9th folks to Texas after Katrina, what did we call them?

Texans.

Used to live in North DFW (Plano, Richardson, and Carrollton) and there was a lot but it wasnt nearly as common like it is in Houston. There was a decent amount of white collar LSU grads working in things like finance or software.

Was exiled in DFW for almost 25 years. Don’t know the number, but the alumni club boils 5,000 pounds each year. :-) LSU 45 - TX 38

Lived in Dallas for 7 years out of school but moved back to Louisiana last year. It’s home and I’ve been enjoying it so far. Dallas was great, but it wasn’t home.
