27 countries across 6 continents.

I consider myself a more "accomplished" domestic traveler because I like to drive. I have driven a vehicle in every U.S. state, including extreme geographical points like Key West, Florida; Deadhorse, Alaska; York, Maine; San Diego, CA.; Kauai; and just about everywhere in between.

People have seen more places abroad and more places domestically, but probably not a ton who have seen more of both - especially if we're talking places of historical, architectural or geographical significance. IOW, if seeing the Great Wall of China, Mt. Everest, Burj Khalifa, Arctic Alaska, etc. carries more weight than a trip to Gatlinburg or a Sandals resort in Jamaica, then that would be in my favor as far as comparing.

Not Africa, the Middle east, poles, or most of the former Soviet block. Not Spain, Greece, or Portugal, but pretty much went to the rest of Europe. Australia, Taz, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, USA, Canadia, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Bali, Lombok, Gili Air, And China for aboot 4 minutes.

Lived in 3 soon to be 4, been to 23 ,and fornicated in 13. I have flown through an additional 6 ,but just as a stop through the airport, so I don't really count those.
