The only one on my wall is the one required by the State. And it's really not hanging, it's leaning on the wall on top of a file cabinet.

I have a few certifications for DUI law training and I don't hang those up.
I am going to do the NHTSA training in Atlanta and I will hang that one up.

Shoot, man, I'd want to see those.

What all does this cover? And yes, I know who NHTSA is.

It's a home office, so it's about making the space look good more than anything. Just figure out how much shite you want on your wall and pick the most important ones from that. If you have an office where 10 things hanging on your wall looks good or doesn't look cluttered, then hang them all.

made me think of this

Field sobriety test training. It's expensive so each police department will only send one or two guys to get certified. So, being a DUI lawyer who first-hand goes through the same training only a few officers go through is a good advantage to have in the DUI defense market.

That's my line of thought. I don't want it to be tacky though.
The initial thought put you way behind the curve on both being tacky.

I think it's only open to attorneys and LEO's but I could be wrong.

This thread defines douchey-ness.

Ah, gotcha. I teach SFST at my department.
You studied or faced in DRE evidence yet?

I have. It is pretty cool stuff.

Having to come here with that question makes it very clear why you had to make a career in the military
I didn't HAVE to make a career in anything I didn't want to do. I had options to choose from (as does everyone who starts college), still do, and I didn't enlist. Even if it is anyone's only choice, there is nothing wrong with that.
Some of you get so bent out of shape over things that don't have any impact on you way too much.

None
I have my degree sitting in the closet somewhere. I hung a picture of boiled crawfish on one wall, picture of tiger stadium on another, kids on another and planned to have a wall with my tickets to the three championship games LSU played in (not 1958) and the tickets for the Saints Super Bowl all of which I attended. All of this is more interesting than a piece of paper bragging that I graduated from college. WGAF?

It's about to catch on down here in the southeast and east coast.
Lot of agencies out west use it regularly, due to the obvious abundance of cheap drugs closer to Mexico.
I went through it a few years back in Phoenix at one of Maricopa County's jails (pink socks, chain gangs Sheriff). The poly impairment out there is unreal. I never knew you could mix so much shite and enjoy the high.

Do what makes you happy. If you like looking at them then hang them up. It is nobody's business what is hanging in your office. You earned them...put them up.

Cool. Yeah, lots of courts I've been to don't even allow it in, believe it or not. I know who the DREC is in my area but I've only met her a couple of times.
