Like what? Just curious, If you're proud of them then hang it. All I have is a picture from my retirement and a plaque given to me at retirement. I keep the rest in a box.

Prestigious is subjective but the ones I want to hang are: BSM, MSM, Ranger school, Airborne School, and my old commissioning document. Too much?

At the home office? I'd put up the degree and the 3 most prestigious ones.

Certificates, awards and degrees are great and something to be proud of.

But last time I checked, none of them pay the bills. The real thing that matters is not how much money you make, but how much you are able to keep.

And that should always be kept private.

Why, random internet dude? It's just a question.

It's not like I'm on here saying I clear 7 figures a day and own 10 lakes houses. I'm not looking for validation, just home decor advice.

Forget the awards. Just install a big wall mirror opposite your desk.

I wouldn't hang anything below a BSM, depending on what the MSM is for, I'd assume PCS/ETS though. As for Ranger and Jump school I say go for it.

I have a home office and it is "decorated" with pictures of my family only.

There is a reason it is called YOUR office. Hang whatever you want to. How much traffic does your home office generate?

It's your office, put up what you want. If I went to Ranger School, I'm pretty sure I'd find a place on the wall to hang my certificate along with my commission.

You're on the OT, where guys worry about what complete strangers wear. I don't give a rat's arse if the OT thinks cargo shorts are tacky. I like 'em, I wear 'em. The extra pockets are handy for tools, extra beer and Mardi gras beads.

Unless your wife is adamantly opposed, hang whatever you want in your office.

Don't be hanging that Benning certificate for bald headed wings up on your wall

You should be rocking this...

Nah, seriously, I agree with Breaux. Sounds like you did one tour down range (one BSM for service) and got out as a company grade officer (one MSM). All of that is good.

If you pay for something it's not a certificate/award. Did you pay to be called a "realtor"? It's not really something you earned, you paid for it.

Bachelor's, master's, PhD, and job qualifications. If you're a CPA, put that one up there. If you've won important awards, you can put those up.

Wait.....home office? You don't need anything

2, and going back soon. First one was an ARCOM. Still in though, just no longer a grunt. Also, I'm afraid of heights and don't have the will to study for jumpmaster. I have a lot of respect for jumpmasters.

Stay safe brother.

Pathfinder is the tough one. Have to do all the calculations manually. Could not do that if my life depended on it.

JMPI gets you for jumpmaster school. Smooth is fast and fast is smooth. Hard to do when you are a 48 year old LTC student with early arthritis (yes, that is when I went).

Are you in the Reserves?

I was offered pathfinder before but never pursued it. I think they now have an app for JMPI though, still I hear it's pretty dang tough. 48 year old LTC?

I'm active, I'm a 65D(PA) now. This is my last hoorah and then I'm getting out. Sprucing up my home before I leave downrange.
