These days, 90% of the people complaining about NOLA/Baton Rouge, haven't been to an event in NOLA/Baton Rouge in 20 years.

Why is that?

Because they’re in Houston or DFW or Atlanta.

what are you talking about? Blue Bayou is located in a good part of town.
At $80, it is a vacation destination for North Baton Rouge. That's fine, but they can have it. Make it $1000 and I'll consider it.

Until what? The first fight? The first shooting? The first drowning? The first lawsuit? The first time a mob of pre med students rush the gates to avoid paying? The first interview with Pa’Chunka blaming the white man for everything?

All of this will happen in the first week it’s open.

I depends on how expensive it is? If you price certain elements out of the park.

If it's demise is anything like Wild River Country in North Little Rock, it will probably last 3 or 5 more years. If memory serves me right, WRC took a summer off due to money problems around 2014. I believe local news reported it as deliquent taxes and they got in trouble for working minors too long. They eventually found new owners who spent a summer installing 3 new slides together about 4 stories tall, and it only lasted 3 or 4 more summers before they closed for good after 2019 and I believe were gonna open for 2020 but used covid as the excuse and never opened again and bull dozed it a couple years later. I used to get the $80 season pass and go all the time for years and it was obvious during the weekdays they had to be losing money.

I remember they tried a couple "adult nights" and some certain people came in climbing the fences and going wild and the police had to be called, that happened at least twice in 2 summers right before closing.

If you don’t pay for groceries, rent, or other day to day necessities you can go if it is $100.
Biggest problem is weaves clogging g the drains.

I live right by there and drive by daily, and I haven't seen them making any improvements whatsoever. You can polish a turd, but it's still a turd.

If season pass isn’t $1200 then it’ll fail. You have to price out the trash.

I'm having a really hard time understanding the decision to Invest in this B.B. Water Park?!

Equally baffling is the (or any) Insurance Company's decision to cover it!?

The Risk Potential for any Investor and/or Insurance Company is enormous!

The only thing that makes sense, or "play" I see here, is someone needing a Huge Loss for a Tax write off off.
