Say what you want. I live in College Station and I’ve seen a begger two times in 13 years

I take camelia to and from work everyday. They’re there all the time and I’ve never seen anyone give them anything at the K saloom light or the Johnston light but they still show up. There’s another spot on W Congress and ambassador by the Albertsons and they set up shop by the bus stops. They have grocery carts full of shite.

My town passed a law requiring permits to panhandle….and they don’t grant any permits. Anyone in violation of the law goes to jail.

Has been very effective.

No idea what state you're referring to bu Florida as i mentioned upholds the constitution. Begging/solicitation isn't their state law. Impeded traffic is.
