Fort Worth has posted street signs everywhere telling people to not give them anything
2 hours ago I passed an older man with a significant limp holding a cash for diabetes sign (these are all over BR). When he got close to the corner he turned around and held up the back of the sign which said "food 4 work". That guy knows exactly how to deal with those signs. Who the hell is going to hire him for anything?

The same handful of people show up at different times in the medians at Camellia Blvd and Kaliste Saloom. Its almost like shift work.

Rarely if ever see a soul where I am in Texas. But, am amazed due to a first amendment YT channel I've followed Florida absolutely protects panhandle as free speech as long as you don’t impede traffic. Honor Your Oath YT channel proves it and has for 15 years.

Only time my dog gets aggressive, she sees panhandle or homeless walking and she starts barking aggressively. They bypass my truck in a hurry.

It's all over here in Lexington. It's a problem everywhere on the USA it seems. Which begs the question.....
....what laws changed to allow this bullshite everywhere? Because it is an epidemic in cities on every state it seems.
.....why isn't something done by the local governments. They put signs up saying "don't give to these people, it's dangerous, find better ways to give/help"......well, aren't you imbeciles in charge of not only the funds being allocated to these signs, but also passing ordinances allowing police to arrest these panhandlers like they absolutely once did?
What happened? And why is the answer undoubtedly related to Democrats?

I refuse to concede on this subject. Say what you will, but I will always give out pocket change to the homeless and needy. I do it on a recurring basis to Scottish Rite Hospitals and other charities like food banks and will also continue do so on them skreets. It helps me in the long run in many ways
That person I gave a little $20 bill to is the one who tells me the word on the streets about who got got last week

I wonder if any "homeless" were smart enough to make a QR Code sticker to place over the city QR Code and the get the money sent to them instead. Create a fake account with a real sounding name.
You must be an Indian.

I never gave any thought to the difference between panhandlers and true homeless people until Houston did some expose about professional panhandling networks and I started paying attention to the fact that some old dude in a wheelchair is being dropped off with no belongings that a homeless person would have, a legible sign, a haircut, prescription glasses, clean clothes and newish sneakers. He doesn't seem to live anywhere nearby yet he is there every day.
Compare this to an actual homeless person with no personal hygiene, stained hospital gowns, missing shoes, bags of stuff, sleeping on the sidewalk, usually near a charity kitchen.

My wife was in Pittsburgh last week. She said the bums came into restaurants and panhandled.
In LA in 2014 I watched a homeless woman go from table to table at a sidewalk cafe. She got to me and I said no. Got cussed out, then the manager had her removed.

Do you leave Meow Mix out on your porch for all the stray cats in your neighborhood?
