I watch all of Hoover's videos which is why Captain Steeve shows up in my timeline frequently. I don't have any opinion on him but his video did point out some things that had not been discussed in this thread which is why I linked the video. Namely, that there had been discussions between two commercial craft that had aborted takeoff due to concerns with icing.

I once had to travel to Japan for 4 weeks when my daughter was about 12 months old. It was very difficult on both me and my wife. If I had to do it over again I would refuse.
