Another thing that bothers me is that there was an obviously autistic kid in elementary school that we taunted relentlessly. I wish I could reach out to him and apologize but I don't even remember his name.

Many things. One that sticks with me is mocking a guy that had a stutter. I was drunk at the time but no excuse.

Seems like the women's tournament could be reduced to 16 teams. When is the last time a team lower than a four seed won the tournament?

ETA: apparently it has never happened. The lowest seed to win the tournament was a 3 seed. LSU being one of three teams.

I’m also retired. I don’t care what time is shown on the clock. I wake up at the same time every day.

I watch all of Hoover's videos which is why Captain Steeve shows up in my timeline frequently. I don't have any opinion on him but his video did point out some things that had not been discussed in this thread which is why I linked the video. Namely, that there had been discussions between two commercial craft that had aborted takeoff due to concerns with icing.

I have been paying in to social security my entire life and I had no choice. If I had been able to invest that money elsewhere then I would be a lot better off. I am now relying on that money when I retire. If I suddenly make too much money to claim my benefits I will go off the rails.

So many great songs in this thread, I feel like upvoting almost every post.

I haven’t seen anyone mention John Conlee’s Rose Colored Glasses or Backside of Thirty. Those are up there for me.
