Over 110 and I'm not going outside. Over 100 and I seriously consider whether what I need to do outside really needs to be done.

I’m tapping out whenever the heat index reaches the upper 90s. Once upon a time I had a job where I worked outside most of the time and could handle the heat. Now that I’m pushing 50 and have had a desk job for a while, I just can’t do it anymore.

I'm out fishing almost every day this time of year. Would have gone today but we stayed out of town last night.

We caught 50 stripers yesterday. It's never too hot for that.

95 with high humidity is a pain in the arse.

I talked to the son of a friend of mine who lives south of Cimarron New Mexico. Its mid 80's with 8% humidity. EIGHT PERCENT.

I could handle that. And their winters arent too bad. Cold but not unbearable.

If I'm fishing on the Chattahoochee River tailwaters below Lake Lanier (above Atlanta), I'm good with temps above 100. If I get too hot I can always roll out of the boat and into 60 degreed water to cool off. ("Shrinkage", of course, becomes an issue at that point though.)

Cutting grass or working outside in the sun? I'm done with it at around 92 degrees. I can't handle that kind of heat like I could when I was twenty years younger. Hell, I couldn't even survive living in an un-airconditioned dorm like South Stadium or Pentagon like I did when I was a student at LSU some decades ago.

Over 85 degrees and over 85% humidity.

If there ain’t LSU Football, a beach, a boat, a really great band, crawfish, or a high percentage chance of sex, I’m staying inside.

We have a small break right now due to some rain that came through and it's sitting at around mid-80s with lower humidity

Not sure where in Kentucky you are located, but East TN will be mid-50's and low 80's this weekend. Looks like fantastic weather.

Anything over 90 is too hot down here. I have been waiting until 7pm to do any yard work and thankfully I work in an office.

It hasn't gotten hot enough for the fish to stop biting. Might be the only outdoor activity I will do in the heat like this. The heat doesn't really suck until you pull into the dock anyway, from then on its a race to get the boat tucked away and get in the a/c in the trucks.

If its low 90s or higher my arse is either inside or near a body of water.

Curious, at what temp do you say frick it and you're staying inside in the A/C.

I don't really have a limit, I have a pool so I can cool off if needed. Because of the pool, I would rather it be 90+ degrees than 85.

ETA: If I'm not in the pool, I can handle 95+ degrees if there is some shade to hang out in and some sort of breeze. If I have to be in the sun (and not in the water), frick pretty much anything over 85 degrees.

Over 100 in the south is just miserable. Luckily work in ac, but getting into a vehicle is a pain at those Temps.

This heat wave with zero rain is killing me. I'm not going back outside until October.

That is an improvement over recent times. They had 83°/-22° back on May 12 in Santa Rosa, NM. They recorded 1% Relative Humidity. Things are liable to spontaneously combust in those conditions.

That's literally as dry as it can possibly get. The temp would have to get down to-22° just to produce dew.

85. I don’t want to do anything outside over 85.

Agree.

45 degrees without wind is perfect weather.

Just had a good little thunderstorm that dropped the temp 21° for me. It is nice right now.

Like an OT 9.5, because an OT 10 doesn’t exist.
