How far away do you live from your nearest nice salt water beach? And how many times do you visit or year?

Born in Wilmington and headed there in a month with a ton of family. Looking forward to the trip and seeing how much it has changed in 25 plus years

5.1 miles to the T at the Hangout. Work out in the Bay 5 days a week so get to actually enjoy the beach about twice a month. Mostly when family or friends are in town.

Not counting the Great Salt Lake 700ish miles?

About 2 miles, between beach days and playing volleyball, 3-4 times a week when it's warm.

9-11 minutes in northern palm beach county. Most weekends. Or Friday evenings with the kids.

5 minutes from the best beach on earth! NorthShore BEACH BABY, you know when there isn't fecal coliform in the water.

when I lived in Tequesta I could walk in my back yard, drop the boat, and be in the ocean in 10 minutes, and it only took that long because there was about a 1/2 mile of no wake zone, once we started having kids and they got into their activities we may as well have lived in the NW Chicago burbs

If it weren't for lack of support system (we have lots of family help where we are now) I think we'd look very seriously into it.
