Personal favorite is Treasure Island/Madeira beach
Beaches are great and plenty of fun bars/restaurants, etc

re: Dark vs Light seats in vehicle, how much does it matter? What colors do you like?

Dark seats for me, but it's not a dealbreaker.
I've got a dark brown leather, a tan leather, and a tan cloth.
I'm good with either leather, I like the way the darker looks.
I hate the tan cloth because I can't get some stains out.

Snowbird
I have a dedicated car for Florida for the winter, and one in New England for summer.
I could get rid of one and drive back and forth in spring/fall, but frick all that

Agree with the Asia replies, easier to do when you've got no schedule.
Once you get in the grind, it might be awhile before you can get all that way.
It's a lot easier to fly the 6-7 hours to Europe as opposed to Asia when you're working for a living.
Also the cost, once you're over there, (Southeast asia, at least) everything is so wonderfully inexpensive. Before you've got much in your pocket, it surely makes a difference

Spent a few weeks there in November of last year.
November was very quiet but IIRC I was told Easter is quite busy there.
The town is very small and easily walkable, beach in town isn't very clean or particularly nice. Some locals were swimming at times but I didn't, you can see all of town draining right into it after a rain. I went surfing a few times, but it is a car ride, perhaps 10 minutes outside town, to the beach I went to. It was fine, not beautiful though, to me the typical Pacific central american beach. Sorry I don't remember the name. There are several different beaches nearby, but all will require a vehicle for transport. I'd recommend a 4x4 if you're renting. I can't comment on how "nice" or not they are.
The people were nice enough, and it was a chill vibe as there just weren't many people there in slow season.
I never felt at all "unsafe" or sketched out even walking at night.
You will not break the bank there, and I'd bet Easter is festive and nice.
