I'm not far from Cypremort Point.

Never been there so I can't speak for it.

About 3 hours now from me to St. Simons - I go at least 3 times a year to see family. Alligator point is a little closer, but I only go maybe once every 3-4 years.

When I lived in St. Simon's, I'd go read books after work any time I didn't have stuff to do. I love naval history, but it is next-level cool when you can look at the sea & imagine it all happening right in front of you.

3.5 to 4.5 hours. Draw a line from Gulf Shores to Destin, the further east you go the further your drive. Make the drive to Sandestin a couple times a year.

In the USA - just a bit over 1000 miles. I never go.
In Croatia - just a bit under 5km. I go almost every day I am here.

3ish hours from our condo in perdido. We go about twice a month
I go more in the late Fall through early Spring than the “High Season”.

I love it there in the coldest part of winter.

We probably average less annual visits than you do.

We bought another condo in ‘21 somewhere opposite of a beach that we get to about once a month as well.

1. 90 mins by car then a 30/45 min. ride on my boat out to Horn Island or Ship Island:

Go there as often as I can, which really means about less than dozen times a year. Plan on being out there this weekend and next. Weather/other events is often an issue.

2. About 3 hours by car, rental Pensacola Beach condo:

Once a year for a week with the extended fam.

Agree. It is my favorite time. We are down by the state park and I love to go walking along the lagoon.

1 mile overland to the water, 3 miles to johnson beach on perdido key, and 4 miles by water to sand island/ft. McCree w/blue angels overhead. Waterfront visits of some kind (johnson pavilion, boat, beach, South Winds tiki bar/Jaime's food truck, Sunset Grill) almost daily.
