No one in my family, including extended on both sides, had a college degree until I completed undergrad. Have a cousin that has since completed an associates.

Everyone in my family is one class away from graduating, but all think it is not worth it to go back. So.. all tied.

Mom and Dad both have bachelors
Mom's parents didn't go to college
Dad's parents both did and grandpa was a CPA
I am finishing masters and sitting for the CPA

My grandpa and I are the most educated. Both grandpas are smarter than me though. One was the CFO of a Fortune 100 and was on the board, the other can fix and build anything.

My parents were the first in their families to grow up in civilization. All four grandparents rode in to town once a month for groceries and remember getting electricity.

Neither of my parents have degrees and my siblings both have associates degrees. I'm the only one with a bachelors. My step-brother is a doctor in BR.

didn't know we were doing this

it's either me or my sister and there isn't a close 2nd, and we don't challenge each other anymore. wendy was anti-authority earlier b/c she is older but when she became the authority, i resisted and after a few totally nerdy run-ins we don't really square off anymore.

she's much more right brained (musician and hippie) and i'm more left-brained (i was my mom's "math baby"), which is funny b/c she's left-handed and i'm right-handed (so it's kind of an extreme manifestation of our different "brains" i reckon)

My father is a doctor.

My mother has her RN.

My brother is a CRNA.

My sister is a fashion designer in NYC and she has her Masters.

My other brother never went to college but he went to trade school and he is an ASE certified mechanic.

So I'm pretty much on par with the family.

I have a masters.

My wife is going to graduate with a clinical doctorate in 2 weeks.

My mom, dad, and brother all have associates.

Her dad has a masters.

Her mom and one of her sisters have only high school.

Her other sister will have a BS in a week.

My extended family is too big to count everyone, but there is a physician, pharmacist, PhD, a few undergrad degrees, and a plethora of uneducated individuals

ETA: When my wife graduates we'll be the most educated couple in of both of our extended families.

I have a BS/M.Ed. In my immediate family, I am the only one with a college education.

In my extended family, I have two cousins with degrees, one in biology who works at a drug testing place (she married a pharmacist) and her sister has a BA in education, but doesn't work.

My wife has a degree and is the only one in her immediate and extended family, however, her sister is finishing her last semester of nursing school.

My family is pretty damn educated. Sister is a lawyer, mom has a masters, I have a masters, dad is an engineer. I feel like we should be way richer and classier then we are. We arent.
