I'm the first in my family (either side) to get a degree. My sister has a masters, my younger brother also has a bachelors.

I have a Doctorate... First in my family, that I know of... My parents had me really young, so that kinda fricked up shite for them...

I'm the only one of my many siblings without a college degree. At one point I was the only one working a full-time job so I'm not sure if that makes me smarter or not smart enough.

I can say with confidence I am seriously the smartest person in my immediate family. As for as my family in terms of my aunts, uncles and cousins.. My mom has 7 siblings, my dad has one. I have 22 cousins on my moms side and 3 on my dads side.
So that's 34 people (including my parents and two siblings). Of the 34 I would say I am the 5th smartest.

I have significantly more academic education than the rest of my family
However, my dad can build damn near anything with his hands, is amazing with woodworking, can weld and has better real world problem solving than myself

about the middle of the pack. My sister had a doctorate but my mother has a master, my father has a bachelor's and I have a masters.
In my extended family, 1 aunt with phd, 1 with masters, 1 with bachelor's. 2 cousins without a college degree, 1 with a bachelor's, and 2 with PHDs. 2 of my 4 grandparents went to college but only got their bachelor's.

Older brother- Barely graduated HS - joined Army in his early 20's and ended up being sent to language school and became a Korean Language Specialist (Most intelligent in the family, but he cancels that out by being a questionable human being)
Sister 1- HS
Sister 2- Associate degree
Me- Bachelors degree
Wife- HS valedictorian, Masters degree (smarter than my family)
Son- graduating HS this month tied with others for highest honors
Most of them are smarter than me, unfortunately!
