I am the first one to graduate from college in my immediate family, but I still think my dad is smarter than I am.

Everyone except my dad has at least an undergrad degree. Mom has masters, brother has JD, sister is a CPA, I have 6 professional certs. Other sister got a degree in education, taught for a few years, and retired with a PhD in MRS.

Eta:
No comments on who is smarter out of everyone because 1. It's too close to call (it's me); and 2. The question was about education.

Not really sure. My mother was a professor at UA. My sister is the Dean of Students at her school. So, probably something to do with Educational Science.

Mom has a masters in organic chemistry and never used it.

In terms of diplomas and level of schooling? Im by far the highest.

However, I'm fricking retarded and so are diplomas. I spend all day on this dipshit website talking to you arse clowns. I'm sure it's affected my intelligence.

Dude, that is pretty neat!

I am not the smartest person in my family. I am not the most acclaimed either.

You and I have to contend with wicked-smaat family members!

Mom and dad both got undergrad degrees. Dad should've stuck to the plan and gone to law school regardless of my brother being born or not.

Oldest bro did about 2 years of college then dropped.

Older bro did a year of college, dropped to go to the Navy, didn't get in due to his knees and his mental health. Now he's in culinary school.

Me, still plugging along at college. Took a couple years off after freshman year. Just wasn't mature enough.

Little bro, gonna graduate from LSU in a little over a year from now. Think he wants to go to law school.

That being said, my dad is by far the smartest out of all of us. Then my little brother, then me, oldest brother, mom, older brother, our big dog is smarter than our little dog, too.

I've got a few doctors, masters degrees, architecture degrees and such in my family. As an engineering grad, I'm smarter than everyone all the time.....not just in my family either.

About to be up there with my immediate family.

Way behind my extended family. There are several phds and masters & I don't plan on getting anything more than my undergrad.

I'm the only one in my immediate family with a degree.

Mom and dad never went to college.

Brother 2 years younger than me did some college but dropped out.

Younger brother and sister are mentally challenged adults.

Perhaps you can settle an argument between my siblings and some cousins. Which is better: a bachelor's in engineering (civil or mechanical) or a badge that allows you to kill black people?

They've been arguing over this for months.
