Just curious if you let them find out for themselves or try to guide them. I’m assuming they will eventually find out but do you expedite by giving warnings?

I guide them lest some fricked up retarded 25 year old septum ring wearing teacher rot their young brain.

We insulate them from it. I explain to them the potential dangers, but they are completely separated from it. It is a huge motivation for why my wife and I work as hard as we do.

They start to learn around age 10. They notice things.

I mostly let them figure it out themselves. I drive 45 minutes to work so I live around a decent community and the bit of culcha that bleeds into the community like the plague that it is, is repulsive to them. We had a culcha on my son's 6u team and he was a complete dipshit w 2 big ol culchad lesbian mom's in a rainbow jeep. The coach wouldn't come pick their kid up anymore for practice so he went away luckily. Now theyre both on 8u and yesterday, the one culchad girl playing on boys 8u football with her white grandpa and grandma, daughter as Mia as her daddy, was twerking on the playground. Its amazing that they have such a small representation yet are 100% trash even in a country community and without apology.

They're coming to their own conclusions without me needing to explain anything or gently show them who to hold contempt towards. Sort of like growing up in Monroe and having to move away because I was going go be expelled for defending myself from constant violence due to having the audacity of being white in a mostly black school.

They are adults now. As youngsters, I brought them repeatedly to my childhood house in NOLA East. Drove around the old neighborhood, quick meal at Deannie's on Haynes, Buzzer door at Tower of Pizza(years ago), did mardi gras every year, and i complained- a lot about how great the plaza was.

Actual Life Lesson: living off of Burbank for 4 years on their own.

They hated me so badly when they were young. I would make them watch certain movies or docs, listen to certain music

Now as adults they’ve each thanked me for taking the time to expose them to the arts, politics, music and film

It’s not that difficult, it just requires being a parent concerned about more than this weekends travel baseball tournament.

I would rather my kids be alive, and err on the side of appearing racist

Than get killed because they didn't want to appear racist

Take from that what you will

We are mostly insulated from it, but I tell mine that if they ever find themselves in a place that another "culture" is in the majority, whether it be a city, a party, a public area, etc., that the danger to their own health and well-being has greatly increased.

You cannot sugarcoat it because the media tells you it's not PC. The facts demonstrate otherwise.
