I knew a guy that would go buy basketball shoes, go play basketball, then return the shoes.

I know a guy that would buy extra shotguns for guests for opening of dove season, then return them.

Bought a replacement toilet seat from Lowe’s. Get it home and it was used with piss and shite all over it. Lowe’s return girl called the manger and he was very apologetic, wanted to refund my money and give me a new one.
I declined and just wanted one that was new and unpissed on.

We got a women's swim suit bottom in our Wally World pickup order that we did not order. They were for a laaaarge woman. I returned them, Got about $12 if I can remember correctly, so I went by some booze for a party we were going to. Win win.

I'm not a fan of it, especially when done to small businesses.

Chad504 did the same fishing rod return scam at Academy. I remember him bragging about it on the Outdoor Board.
but Chad504 is a self admitted retard that sales liability for GoAuto. He wouldn’t claim to be above questionable returns

I bought a leaf blower not too long ago, get home and opened it, there was an old, used leaf blower inside. Someone had bought a new one, put their old one back in the box and returned it. I'm 99% sure BabyTac was responsible for that one too.

Yea, it's theft and women are the worst about it.

My daughter's roommates (no pics) at LSU would buy clothes off amazon, wear them to the LSU game, out to the bars and then return them for a refund.

This morning he is asking how to get a $2.54 check from an AT&T class action suit. All of the uber-wealthy I know waste their time with such things.

I actually do know a few wealthy people that do shite like this because they’re so neurotic

Especially if that means they get to "stick it to the big corporation"

I purchased a 5 qt jug of oil at Walmart one time and someone had poured their used oil in it and returned it.

Did you search his history or just happen to remember it?

I had never seen that thread, but I knew about it because it does get brought up pretty often since Tac loves to brag about his status and wealth

I just give it to Goodwill instead of returning it.

Except for gloves.

Stuff like fishing rods in Baby Tac's post I'd either give to some kids or more than likely the Possum Cops for their kid fishing trips.

To be fair, Costco will actually let you return anything at any time. They even promote their lax return policy

When my daughter was in grad school she organized a BBQ to raise some cash for the class. After she had 3 packs of hamburger buns left over (24 to a pack). Gave me the Costco receipt and asked me to return them. Packs were never opened.

Get to the counter and the lady asked what was wrong with them. Told her they bought too many. Gives me the cash, tosses them in the trash. I asked why she did that, said they don't know if someone tampered with them.
