re: How do we stop the issue of kids with no involved father?

I’m just saying. The amount of people who would be smart enough to listen and do the right thing is minimal. We have idiots in the WH and throughout the country in govt positions.
The same people that voted for (or reside within) a city run by Latoya are the same ones who have faith in simply educating folks about abstinence. What’s next? Teaching them algebra?
The people that use abortion as a form of birth control are probably not the brightest apples, and I doubt they are ready to sit through a lecture on morals.

B.S.
Welfare is 100% why we have so many fatherless homes. If it was not economically possible, there wouldn’t be as many single parent households.
Welfare (many different programs) makes it possible for the state to support the existence of the single mom and the children without the contribution of a father.
But don’t take my word for it, just look at the timing correlation from when welfare began in the 60s and the increase in rate of single parent households:

Nuclear family / elementary family / conjugal family, however you want to label it, is one of the most successful evolutionary adaptations of all time IMHO.
It's anecdotal, but I am seeing some movements towards dads sticking around and families forming.

That graph is for unwed women, not fatherless children. There is likely a correlation still, but its not the same thing.

Society needs to stop embracing and financing "baby daddy" as acceptable. It's farking awful. Dad's should be shamed and not idolized in culture -- music and movies.

LBJ in the Dems condemn them to poverty… 40s 50s the blacks in the south moved to the north worked in factories , usually union , father stayed at home, owned houses , they went on vacations they cared about their neighborhoods and schools .... Not so much today

Sterilization of men who don't support their kids.
Same for women who kill their babies.

Because the Dems reward a certain type of women to go around and have kids with Ray rays and pookies. Then they turn 40 with 3 kids, 2 baby daddies, one in prison, and overweight. BUT THEY HAVE A MASTERS DEGREE and make 50k though!!!!

This thread is hilarious.
You go to one thread and you read about the sanctity of life, "killing babies", etc. You go to another thread and read the exact same posters blaming the "welfare state" for single-parent households.
You think we live in a welfare state? Just watch when happens in LA now that you have a full ban on abortions. Somebody has to take care of these precious "lives" you saved...I guess it's on you?

Fact is, you can’t force the men to do anything. Garnish their wages? Fine. Then they will resort to illegal means of making an income. Throw them in jail? We already have overcrowded jails, and DAs who don’t prosecute anything. You’ve already had many who said they wouldn’t pursue these cases.
Then what? Sterilization? You suddenly trust the government and police to hunt these guys down and bring them in for some treatment?

The government has become an economic surrogate. It may be beneficial to pop kids out.
Section 8
Welfare
Medicare
WIC
Food stamps
Crazy checks
There is one serious money to be had for those wishing to game the system.
Remove the “incentives,” and birth rates will decline. When women are hard up for cash, they will target baby daddies wallet.
I give it two years, and the change would be eye-opening.

Generational dependency on the government isn’t solving itself in two years.
You may be right about removing the safety “net” that’s become a hammock, but if you are, it’ll get back to equilibrium in two generations- not two years. And you’re going to have increased despair, and therefore violence, in the time to get there.
You and I can probably pay to keep that away from us on the homestead. The cities will be more dangerous than they are now. But the concentrations of voters in the metro areas won’t stand for the scaleback long enough to see if it actually works.

Hold the parents accountable for crimes committed by the juvenile. I don’t care if the biological parents are together or not, your offspring is an extension of you until they’re 18. Once a few adults serve time for something their dumbass kid does, I guarantee you men would be more careful who they sleep with.

After fathering 1 child that you walk away from, mandatory vasectomy.

If it is gone - it’s gone.
It will have to solve itself.
Will it be disruptive, you fricking bet.
