Yeah, evolution actually does explain all of that.

Can you give me one example of a change of kind with observable evidence to support Darwin’s evolution theory???

If not Evolution is fake!

Curious, how do Creationists reconcile discoveries that date back hundreds of millions of years and Creationism timeline of 6k years?

I don't know if I personally feel a need to reconcile anything God does that I don't have His grace to understand. I just thank Him for doing it.

However, I feel that when people hear that God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them in 6 days and rested on the 7th day, they think of their human calendar.

Gods timeline is not our timeline. As smart and intelligent as humans have become there are things we can't even conceive of that God has done and is doing. Most people can not humble themselves to understand this and IMO have tried to convince themselves that God is not real to compensate for the lack of knowledge. Probably not the best way to say it but somewhere in there is what I'm trying to say.

Carbon dating is not reliable

C-14 is radioactive and unstable, decaying over time. It's decay is a function of time. That time can be measured and eyeball proof that it happens in a systematic way, universally.

No one is praying to Darwin as the plane is plunging to the ground with no engine power.

People take the Bible too literally without understanding the men of the time had no concept of science or the modern calendar we use.

It is the height of human arrogance to assume that you could perceive space and time on the level of a being capable of creating the universe and take the Bible as literal fact and yet have to dumb it down into “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth.”

I think if you’re solely focusing the debate on how literal 7 days is, then you’re kind of missing the point of the whole thing.

Edit: Just want to remind everyone that we’re literally debating “Boys have a penis girls have a vagina” all over the world right now. But science and stuff.

So basically you’ve taken a long winded route in saying there is a god.

You have the most aligned thinking to my own thus far, but you articulated it far better than I.

What version of Covid are we on now?

Viruses mutate constantly to new strains that ensures their survival. If not, the flu would have been extinct a long long time ago.

Basically...ish.

But not positive same form as silver-haired male on a throne in heaven portrayal in most Christian faiths nor am I positive God's form is singular.

But, yes, this production of life ain't random or by accident

Living Mollusks shells dated to be 2,300 years old according to Carbon dating.

Freshly killed seal was dated to be 1,300 years old by Carbon dating.

Great science there.

So your answer is a virus becoming a virus.

Sorry buddy, I need a change of kind. Not an adaptation.

Surely you can up with one?!?

We have whole civilizations dating back a mere couple of thousand years ago that are under many many feet of earth, but some supposed footprints from 100 million years ago are somehow untouched by wind, water, and erosion and in some guy’s restaurant courtyard? The likelihood of that in and of itself is mind boggling, maybe even as much as it is to actually date something to 100 million years ago in the first place.

People can argue what they like, but I’ll just say this, that it takes an enormous amount more faith to believe that everything you see before you originated from chance the likes of which defy any kind of rational logic than to believe we were created from a vastly intelligent creator, along with the rest of the universe for His own purposes. Play with numbers, but I’ll never have enough faith to believe what evolutionists are telling me I need to believe in in order to be accepted as intelligent. It’s ridiculous.

Creationist and evolutionists all can agree up to the same certain point then they each take a “leap” of faith.

Creationists put their faith in a creator, evolutionists put their faith in random events.

It blows my mind how many people on this site accept creationism over evolution.
