Theoretically, you can travel forward in time. You can slow time down by the same principles of speed in space. We have not discovered any evidence to support the theory of going back in time.

Time travel is real, but we can only travel to the past. Someone living in the present cannot go forward to a time that doesn't exist yet to them.

Yes, time travel is real.....sort of. When you die your body is buried in the ground (or burned up in a furnace) while your soul travels to another place (hint: there is no sense of time in this place).
The place is either one of two. Once place is a beautiful place with breathtaking scenery and amazing enhanced supernatural phenomenon. This amazing place is populated by legions of young 30ish happy smiling people all dressed in white robe like garments. For starters; the water sings and the tree branches laden with leaves act like giant fans to cool you. At night as you drift off to sleep you lay your head on the torso of lions and tigers. There is no clashing and violent confrontation in this amazing place.
Your existence is not bound by the constraints of time and space. Traveling to something or some phenomenon that attracts you is just a matter of thinking it - BAM you're there. Floating through endless space will take you to the farthest end of the galaxies and you will not even have begun to discover the wonders of the universe. You will literally be floating through the Sea of God. Your soul spirit is free without the burden of carrying around a flawed demanding body. Remember due to the effects of disobedience that occured eons ago our body NOW makes war with our spirit. We just do stupid things to pleasure this demanding body.......destructive even dangerous things. Then there's this pesky aging thing. All of it.....all the suffering, tears, and pain wiped out in a nanosecond. No more tears, no more sorrow, only unimaginable joy and contentment.
Then there's these amazing happy people with their amazing stories. Stories that will hold you spell bound. You will meet your ancestors. You will know their stories, there experiences. They will fill out the details of stories you heard from your own parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. You will even see the origin of some of your physical attributes. Then there's the joyous reunions. Reunions between parents and children lost in accidents, violent acts, or miscarriages. You will bond with them. Your joy will consume you.
OR, we go to the other place - where you're completely in the dark forever. No interacting with other humans. You know they're there but you cannot interact with them. You can cry out to them but they don't respond to you. Only the sound of their voices blending with yours cursing, pleading, accusing, crying. No laughter - no joy. Just darkness. We cannot commit suicide to escape this place. Just darkness forever.
So today is Sunday and I choose God. And my spirit will haul this aging pesky defiant body to Church to worship God. During my worship I intend to pray for other humans struggling with their own defiant bodies. I want to see God in this amazing place and I hope to make it possible for other humans to join me, especially the people I love in this space and time.

I had this acceptance when I got put under for surgery. I was unconscious and non-existent for 3 hours, and I never knew the difference.
