There is one snake per approximately 400 square feet.
The published calculations you base your numbers on are incorrect, this subject has come up here before.
He is being sarcastic calling it a paradise.

For anyone trying to decide whether to go, that gif should help them make the correct decision for themselves.

I based my numbers on the OP saying that is what they are.
What else lives there to feed so many snakes? How many mice are there per 400 Square feet?
I would not consider going there unless the TV show I was filming paid fat cash and had plenty of snake wranglers and a few snipers.

The OPs numbers were wrong from the original article.
The consensus in the earlier threads about how to deal with the snakes was simple:
Napalm

The snakes are cannibals. How else could they survive?

I know a couple of Mexicans that would love to get loose on that place with some gasoline and some garden sprayers.

Brazilians quibble over whether there are five venomous golden lancehead snakes per square meter on Ilha da Queimada Grande or just one. Either way, it's the highest density of snakes on the planet—far too many to make the island, located around 90 miles off the São Paulo coast, safe for anyone except experts to visit.
perfect place for a death row camp... drop em off and leave em. they either live on snakes, or die. frick em.

So, there is an island that no one wants because it is full of snakes and these snakes can be sold for $30k each?
Just want to verify this before I start a thread on Money Board.
