I know you didnt really mean to post to me, but I will point some things out anyway.
If all of that is true about this island, it would probably drive the price of snakes down on the market, That market is probably very limited, and easy to overload. These snakes might not be totally the same as snakes in other areas, so you couldn't profit of venom maybe.
I would bet somehow though, the Chinese or Japanese will buy them for something.
