Is this a thing? They all left this morning and everyone did laundry yesterday. Why? I will always wash everything when I get home.

Because they aren’t assholes.
Well, maybe they are, but at least the sheets won’t smell like them.

They didn't want to ride in the car with dirty clothes. Duh.

Free laundry detergent and power bill goes to you

They didn’t do the sheets. I did all the sheets today after they left. They only did their clothes. Who doesn’t pack enough close for the whole trip? One was here three days and did laundry on the second day

Everyone likes to use a Speed Queen.

Maybe they all had sex in your house. Or maybe it was just a nice gesture to show appreciation. Did you have any skid mark shorts younwere hidding?

It’s so that you can just put your clothes back in your closet when you get home. It’s a good move especially if you have little kids.

Have you ever traveled home with fresh clean clothes? It’s magnificent.

Tell those assholes that’s the last Xmas gathering you ever host

In Biden’s America you have to do things like this. Anytime you can save money you have to take advantage of it right now
I take rolls of TP from my gym
Batteries from the remote at hotels

The people who complain about shite like this are probably the same people who were melting because they couldn’t see all of their precious family during the holidays.

At least you have a family

We usually do this the day before we leave for home after a long vacation if in a condo.

That’s what we do too, but we don’t ever impose on our hosts, even when we’re staying with family.
I hope OP’s family at least asked if it was OK first

Nothing wrong with getting back from a long trip and unpacking a bag of clean clothes. Especially if you are just sitting around some loser relatives house with nothing better to do.

Because you didn't stop them.

I'm doing this, but only because we took the small car (two grown kids and dog in sedan) because the SUV went in the shop. Space was at a premium.

College kids? Don’t have a washer in dorm?
