What's crazy is that you'll never see him again. He's going to hit the next, easier target.

That's a good way to get your arse killed. If he keeps trying to go look around people's house with a gun in his hand there are a lot of people who will not think twice before shooting that stupid frick.
But I read something awhile back that said a lighted area and having a dog are the two biggest factors in scaring off potential robbers. Good thing you had the floodlight to scare him off.

And what pisses me off about that is let's play the situation out to a hypothetical. You hear the Ring on your phone and you catch him in your driveway. You come out with a shotgun and yell at him and he charges you. You shoot him.
The entire liberal community and MSM would absolutely crucify you, even though you would be 100% justified for your actions.
If I caught that in my driveway I'm thinking about my wife and two little kids. I'm trying to protect them first and foremost. I don't want that piece of shite all cracked out and/or on mojo coming in the house and killing my family over a few hundred dollars.

Flir Thermal for the win
Thoughts/reviews on firing 7.62 out of something that compact? Back before my tragic boating accident I had a rifle that was a bit longer but 7.62 just seemed so unwieldy. Not really sure if it was the round or the rifle (granted it had no attachments). I prefer the 5.56 but I had so much 7.62 ammo that i may have contemplated getting something else that used that caliber.

quote:And, I forgot to add this point. They are so liberal about it because THEY DON'T HAVE THAT WHERE THEY LIVE. Of course they would be liberal about it. They have no perspective. Everything is professional and clean and relatively crime free where those people live. They cannot understand where a person living on the frontlines of it could be so scared and wanting to arm up to protect ourselves and ready to shoot if the situation calls for it.

I shutter to think how many hoodrats wonder around neighborhoods at all hrs of the night without anyone knowing.
I bet the most popular br nextdoor topics are. Anyone hear gunshots? Black guy in neighborhood?

They’ve got brazen to the point people need to start community vigilante clubs. Law enforcement is completely useless today. Take your neighborhood to the next city council meeting and threaten to do what they won’t.

used to be a nice place, but they built that new neighborhood adjacent to it, which is full of Chargers and rims last time I saw it.
You could be talking about the George O’Neal or Shenandoah areas, and I’m sure many others in BR. Same story.
George O’Neal they put in low income apartments and the place went to hell almost overnight. Near Jones Creek and Coursey, same story - they packed apartments in right next to Shenandoah and introduced crime.

I would relocate that bike far away from you.
I had some white female crackhead walk up my driveway several months back and stole a bag out the back shed that had a new basketball in it that I only used once. All on doorbell camera. The OP's situation would irk me considerably more.
