NASHVILLE (WSMV) - Nashville will become home to Amazon's East Coast hub of operations, according to the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

The company's $230 million capital investment is expected to create 5,000 full-time corporate jobs.

Amazon's new Operations Center of Excellence will be located at a 1 million-square-foot facility north of the Gulch in downtown Nashville.

Nashville is BOOMING. And that's an understatement. Real estate is booming, economy is booming, it's a great city minus the traffic

We'd just end up in fisticuffs at the downtown Sonic.

Each time I go I struggle to see why people like it so much. That place will become unbearable with traffic in the coming years as well.

Not me. Everytime I go I realize how shitty certain things about my city are. I wish we had the leadership and business acumen that Nashville has put to work.
