How does Holly Rowe still have job and even worse as the on the field reporter for the primetime team for ESPN? The on the field reporter brings nothing to the table - they are eye candy and she looks like Miss Piggy.

Holly is one of the best in the business and a staple in college football reporting.
She's super knowledgeable and there's a reason she's on ESPN's "A-team" for games.

DEI for sure. I think her cancer battle kind of gave her long time tenure. This was around the same time as Stuart Scott's and Craig Sager's battles, so basically it earned her a life time job assuming she survived which unfortunately those other two did not.

She's great at what she does! She's overcome cancer, if you haven't heard! No one can ask incisive, probing questions at halftime like, "Coach, your offense has turned the ball over 5 times in the first half. Do you think that's a factor?" "Coach, you ran the ball for (producer in her ear, "23 yards") 23 yards in the first half. What are the keys to getting back in the ballgame?"

Probably because she's a professional with 30+ years of experience and one of the most respected in the business. Old-school broadcast journalist who conducts research and asks the right questions. If you want "eye candy," 25-year-old sideline reporters, go watch the X Games.

She’s on tv not radio. I’m not saying she has to be skinny and beautiful but she is fat and ugly. Like obese. It’s her job to also look nice.
No homo but men on tv shouldn’t be fat either. It’s about looking more respectable. If you don’t want to be in moderate shape, be a writer or do radio.
