She's waiting for the right moment to strike

Hang in there bud nobody ever said marriage was easy. Lot of times it feels like things are taken for granted that the bills will be paid, things will get fixed and money will continue to flow in. We all have our flaws but it sounds like to me you have done plenty to keep your family safe and considerably comfortable in a hard hit region after the hurricane.

There is only a certain amount of time living like this can be tolerated.

Even with a window AC-this gets real old. A newborn baby after days of this would drive most anybody batty.

I see that she said she appreciated you. She was blowing off steam.

When will the power be restored? You have your home undamaged. Most don't. Tell your wife to suck it up a bit longer but it sucks and it is okay to say so.

She did sound extra bitchy though.

Jeez seems we're all in the same boat. My new ex girlfriend thought she'd get the law involved. The deputy was not pleased with her. Told her to quit being a baby. Even better is when she claimed she was not allowed in my house. Without skipping a beat the deputy says "I just saw you walk out of the house".

Been married 38 years. It's a 2 way street. I take care of the outside shite, she takes care of the inside shite. I work outside the house, she works inside the house. Small kids are a wrinkle,, ours are grown and gone. I always have a hot and damn good meal. Our money is our money no separate accounts. We live the good life and suffer mistakes together. I can't tell you what to do, but I've been managing expectations for 40 years. Good luck.
