Back in the 80s there was another cop named "Murphy". He was a top notch beat cop in Detroit. And not even being gunned down and turned into a cyborg stop him from doing his job and helping the city.

To the extent this is directed to me, my point was it was not shocking because: a) he's black; and, b) people have been saying he was the guy for a while (for various reasons [valid or not]).
The fact is, there are any number of REAL WORLD examples of cities that have gone to complete shite with leadership similar to that of BR (not simply ethnicity, but MINDSET/PHILOSOPHY).
I would love to be proved wrong, but SWB and her merry band of retards has given me ZERO reason to believe that will happen.

Paul has a lot of experience in investigations division.
He actually is a really nice guy and most people like him. It would be very surprising if he would be involved in anything corrupt.
The only thing with Paul is he is gonna to agree and do whatever Broome tells him.

from talking to a few officers I know.. he will be given a fair shake but there's a curiosity/concern regarding how he will transition to a civil service position and of course what he will do with the sterling officers.. that will be very telling.
