Mine is $65 a month. It's self employed middle class people who get fricked.

Really? That's in effect for the 2017-2018 enrollment year?

There are other insurers, you know. See if one of them will beat it.

I'm not blaming Trump for this because it would have gone up with or without the subsidies. I do blame the Republican Party and the Democratic Party for not fixing this situation this year.

Welcome aboard. I'm a traveller of this train since 2015.

Meanwhile you can get any medical treatment in Canada for the price of a couple boxes of pizza nova

We should get away from tradition health insurance and have patients pay the Dr. directly.
Have some type of catastrophic insurance.
I think that most health care cost is the last 2 months of life.

Sure if you are okay with waiting a few months.

Not sure where these guys paying $65-70/month with employer based plans work, but my BCBS (me and 1 dependent) has been getting ridiculous. Higher premiums, higher deductibles, higher co-pays. Might not be as bad as self employed but it has been getting steadily worse than the pre-ACA days year after year. Maybe the former system wasn't great, but the ACA is not the answer. Something is going to have to give, and I am not talking about single payer crap. Give me the market.

Who cares if the pizza is old and moldy by the time its delivered?
It takes 6+ weeks for any diagnostics throughout the whole country.

Middle class don't qualify for subsidies. Stop blaming Trump for an Obama administration frick up.
As a middle class self employed person, my premium went up nearly 700% since the ACA was enacted.

Sure if you are okay with waiting a few months.

This.
Nobody gets this. Middle class self-employed families (and many employees of small businesses) are absolutely fricked by this system.
I just want a catastrophic plan that only covers me if something incredibly bad happens. I'll be happy to pay cash for my primary care visits.

We just switched to BCBS and I have better coverage, lower deductibles, and the same co pay for $5 more a month.
I'm in alcohol sales.

the whole system is fricked to be sure, but lord trumpkin isn't helping any, and is actively making it worse.
