Have you ever met an aerospace professional who believes in aliens?

I met a retired NASA engineer yesterday who firmly believes there are aliens out there much more advanced than humans.
Any one else ever met a pilot or anyone else in the aerospace industry who is convinced there are aliens?

I have an uncle who worked in a similar field and obtained some pretty high clearances from the government, and although he won't get into details about stuff he worked on (because he can't), he certainly seems to believe that aliens are real. Talking to him is pretty fascinating.

I know a pipefitter in Huntsville Alabama who firmly believes that folks born in North Alabama intuitively how to travel to space...so anything is possible...

I don't question him as he has a genius level intellect and has govt clearances for longer than I've been born.
At this point I'm just like : does it really affect my day to day life?

IIRC, my uncle isn't like that so much as he just believes it based on things he's seen, i.e. technology. To my knowledge, he hasn't witnessed any literal aliens or anything like that.
But he's one of the smartest people I know, and so I take his opinions more seriously than I would some random person's or reading about it on the internet. I'll have to try to have another conversation with him one day. Problem is I only see him once or twice a year tops.

Listen to former Navy pilot Ryan Graves talk about his UFO encounters. Had several and not just him. Pretty interesting stuff. There’s a Rogan episode but he’s also talked about it elsewhere

The fact that the size of the universe is incomprehensible makes me think that it would be almost impossible for their not to be other intelligent life out there.

My older brother is a retired Navy and Commercial pilot. He’s very gregarious, talks about any and everything.
The topic of UFO’s and what he may possibly have seen is the only subject that makes him clam up.

One of my former managers was a Marine, as was his father and grandfather was in service as well. Almost all males in his family have served in one branch or another. He swears by what his dad says about aliens. If you look at the rate we were advancing technically before Roswell, and the rate after Roswell, we had a major breakthrough with microchips and such afterwards that accelerated growth in technology 100 fold. They swear that tech was due to what we found at Roswell, among other encounters not known.

Morning Madam , I met a gentleman who was an air force pilot in Korea . Knew all the astronauts and on the board of a leading luxury jet company. He told me that we absolutely have been contacted and have craft . Hard to figure why he would lie.
